1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Heliophile LLC (“Heliophile,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Buetche, including its website, mobile application, features, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

Buetche is owned and operated by Heliophile LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. By using Buetche, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Buetche, we may collect:

Account information: Your name, email address, account identifier, authentication information, and profile details. Passwords are handled through our authentication provider and are not stored by us in readable form.

Location information: A ZIP code, city, approximate location, or location selected by you to display nearby stores, prices, travel estimates, and locally relevant information. Buetche does not require continuous precise GPS tracking. If device location is offered, it will only be accessed with your permission.

User content: Shopping lists, list items, saved recipes, preferences, shared content, community deal posts, likes, verifications, reports, and other information you submit.

Voice and AI information: If you use voice or artificial-intelligence features, we may process audio, speech transcripts, prompts, shopping items, recipe requests, and generated responses to provide the requested feature. This information may be processed by service providers that support speech recognition or AI functionality.

Subscription information: Subscription status, transaction identifiers, purchase dates, renewal information, and limited payment-related records. Complete payment-card details are processed by the applicable payment provider and are not stored directly by Buetche.

Technical and usage information: IP address, browser or device type, operating system, app version, login activity, diagnostic information, pages or features used, timestamps, cookies, advertising identifiers where permitted, and information needed to protect and operate the Service.

Communications: Information included when you contact us for support, submit feedback, or communicate with us.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• Create, authenticate, and maintain user accounts.
• Save and synchronize shopping lists, recipes, preferences, and user content.
• Display nearby stores and ZIP-code-based results.
• Provide product searches, price comparisons, AI features, and voice features.
• Operate and manage Buetche Pro subscriptions.
• Display advertisements to free users.
• Process community deals, likes, verifications, reports, and moderation actions.
• Detect fraud, abuse, security threats, and violations of our Terms.
• Troubleshoot errors, analyze performance, and improve Buetche.
• Respond to support requests and important service communications.
• Meet legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and enforcement obligations.

4. Advertising

Buetche may display advertisements through services such as Google AdSense on the website and Google AdMob in the mobile application.

At launch, Buetche intends to use non-personalized or context-based advertising. These advertisements may be selected using information such as the content being viewed, general location, or limited device information rather than a user’s browsing history or interests.

Advertising providers may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, and similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and frequency control, subject to their own privacy policies and applicable law.

If we later introduce personalized advertising, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any consent or privacy controls required by applicable law before using it.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell users’ personal information for money.

We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate Buetche, such as:

• Cloud hosting, database, authentication, and infrastructure providers.
• Payment processors and mobile app stores.
• Advertising and analytics providers.
• AI and speech-processing providers.
• Mapping and location-service providers.
• Product, retailer, and pricing-data providers.
• Security, fraud-prevention, customer-support, and technical providers.
• Professional advisers or government authorities when legally required.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services or meet their legal obligations.

Information may also be disclosed if reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, enforce our Terms, investigate fraud or security incidents, or protect the rights and safety of Heliophile LLC and others.

If Heliophile LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

6. Public and Shared Content

Some Buetche features allow users to share lists, recipes, or community deals. Information intentionally submitted to a public feature may be visible to other users or anyone with a valid sharing link.

Do not include sensitive personal information in public posts or shared content. Shared links may be forwarded by recipients. We cannot control how other people use information that you voluntarily make public or share with them.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Buetche and its providers may use cookies, local storage, software development kits, pixels, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember settings, maintain security, measure performance, and deliver advertisements.

Where required, users will be given consent or preference controls. Browser or device settings may also allow certain technologies to be restricted, although disabling them may affect functionality.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Buetche, maintain accounts, satisfy legal and financial obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and protect the Service.

Account content is generally retained while an account remains active. Some records may remain for a limited period after deletion when required for security, backups, legal compliance, transaction records, or fraud prevention.

Public content may remain visible until it is removed, expires, is moderated, or is deleted under Buetche’s retention rules. Community deal posts may be automatically removed as newer posts replace them.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information associated with your account.

You may update certain information through Buetche’s Settings page. You may request account or personal-data deletion through the available account controls or by emailing hello@heliophile.net.

Before completing a request, we may need to verify your identity. Certain information may be retained when required by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping purposes.

You may cancel Buetche Pro through the subscription-management method shown in Buetche or through the app store or payment provider used for the purchase.

10. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their Buetche account and associated personal information from the account settings when that option is available or by emailing hello@heliophile.net with the subject “Buetche Account Deletion.”

Deleting an account may permanently remove shopping lists, recipes, preferences, community activity, and other saved content. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an externally billed subscription unless required by the applicable platform. Users should separately confirm cancellation through the payment provider or app store.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no online service, database, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

12. Children’s Privacy

Buetche is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Users between 13 and the age of legal adulthood in their location should use Buetche only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

If we learn that personal information was collected from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian may contact hello@heliophile.net regarding such information.

13. United States Operation

Buetche is operated from the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards and law.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

Buetche may contain information, links, integrations, or services provided by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Heliophile LLC is not responsible for third-party websites, retailers, advertisements, payment services, or external services.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Buetche changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice within the Service or by email where appropriate.

Continued use after an updated policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
